The big difference between my art as a child and my art today is that I put five fingers on a hand now instead of four. I use my artwork to physically manifest my dreams and desires as a simple narrative while also expressing the beauty in the way things are.
My artwork takes me back to the mindset of when I was a child when there was no restriction on imagination or possibility when the pencil hit the paper.

Ethan Funk-Breay

I'm a jack of all arts, including graphic design, acting, writing, with my favorite being illustration with a pen or pencil on whatever piece of paper I can find.
I majored in Graphic Design at the University of Northern Colorado. I co-founded Funky Carrot Productions, an independent film production company, with Chloé Colleen and Dalton Lanich. My current projects include my first full length film, The Professionals, a web series called Darling and Ahab created by Chloé Colleen, a comic book that's expected to release in 2021, several short films and music videos, and whatever I feel like doing next.
When I'm not drinking coffee or chocolate milk, I'm most likely doodling in my sketchbook with whatever free time I have left.
